MY STORY.
"Lauren Sink, an aspiring Singer/Songwriter from Oxford, Mississippi, strives to bring Light to this world by lifting up the name of Jesus. Lauren fell in love with music early in life and began leading worship in local churches. After many prayers, Lauren decided at the age of sixteen to devote the next chapter of her life to music, and to use it as an instrument to encourage this generation to step out in faith. At the age of twelve, Lauren was first introduced to the guitar by her father, and fell in love instantly with the sounds she was able to create at her fingertips. Lauren soon developed a passion for singing and songwriting in His name and for His glory. Lauren Sink draws her sounds from a wide spectrum of genres including mainstream pop, indie pop, alternative folk, and Christian Contemporary Music. Lauren released her first single in July 2019, 'Lead Me to the Well,' with hopes to inspire followers of Christ to grow closer in their relationship with Him. A prayerful song based closely on John 4, 'Lead Me to the Well' implores listeners to satisfy their thirst with the everlasting love of the Heavenly Father. She also released her first full EP 'Shadow of Your Wings,' during the fall of 2019. January 15th, 2021 she will release her next single, 'Freedom' and then another single January 29th, 'Sometimes.' Her next EP, 'Down to the Water' will be released February 12th, 2021! Lauren is very excited to share these new songs with the world!"
